Theft from Motor Vehicle

On 24th of May 2021 at approximately 10:21 am., Aylmer Police responded to theft from Motor vehicle on Dufferin St. Aylmer ON. Police investigation revealed that sometime overnight-unknown persons entered an unlocked pick up truck and stole a wallet containing personal documentation and two credit cards. Credit cards were used in St. Thomas and London areas. Police investigation is on going and anyone with information is asked to call Aylmer Police at 519-773-3146 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Residents are reminded that theft from unlocked vehicles is a crime of opportunity where owners become immediate victims when valuables are left inside. Always make sure that your vehicle is locked and valuables taken out in particular purses and wallets that often contain personal documentation and credit cards that can be immediately used.
