Suspects arrested property recovered

The OPP Elgin and Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) have arrested and charged multiple people in connection to residences being broken into during funeral services throughout Southwestern Ontario.

45-year-old Krystle OAG of Dutton-Dunwich, Ontario stands charged with:

  • Break and enter
  • Possess break in instruments
  • Obstruct peace officer
  • Removing vehicle identification number
  • Assault peace officer (two counts)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime (16 counts)
  • Possession of a firearm obtained by crime (18 counts)
  • Careless storage of a firearm obtained by crime (four counts)
  • Possession of a prohibited device (three counts)

The accused was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice St. Thomas on October 25, 2019.

55-year-old Ian SCOTT of Dutton-Dunwich, Ontario stands charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime (16 counts)
  • Possession of a firearm obtained by crime (18 counts)
  • Careless storage of a firearm obtained by crime (four counts)
  • Possession of a prohibited device (three counts)
  • Removing vehicle identification number

The accused was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice St. Thomas on October 29, 2019.
