Prescription Fraud attempt

On Tuesday 18 August 2020 at 6:30 pm, Aylmer Police responded to a report of a prescription fraud at a local business on Talbot St. Aylmer ON. Investigation revealed that a male described as wearing a white baseball hat bearing a Puma emblem, blue long sleeve shirt and a facemask tendered a fake prescription purported to be from a doctor in St. Thomas. The male attempted to obtain Dilaudud, Hydromorph and Xarelto from the pharmacy. The on-duty pharmacist denied the prescription and the prescription note was confirmed fraudulent.
