Possession of stolen property over $5000

On Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 at approximately 1:10 am. Officer on patrol on Talbot St. West Aylmer ON., observed two suspicious males at the driver’s side of a 2013 Honda CRV that was on the parking lot of Tim Horton’s. When observing the officer, both males began to run. One of the males was apprehended. Police received information that the vehicle was reported stolen. A search of the male resulted in location of vehicle keys and documents associated to the vehicle. Second male was located by an officer and as he was being apprehended, the male assaulted the officer by throwing a bicycle at him and then fleeing the scene on foot.

As a result of this investigation, 40 year old male was charged with possession of stolen property over $5000.00 Possession of stolen property under $5000.00 and failing to comply with a probation order.

34-year-old male from London was charged with Assault with intent to resist arrest, Possession of stolen property over $5000.00, Possession of stolen property under $5000.00 Escape lawful custody and Assault police.
