Multiple Vehicle Collisions

On 21st of November at approximately 12:30 pm, Aylmer Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Progress Dr. Aylmer ON. A 2019 Freightliner semi tractor trailer being operated by a 57-year-old male from Angus was west bound on Progress Dr. A 2006 Pont. Being operated by an 81-year-old female from Aylmer was exiting from a private driveway on to Progress Dr. Female failed to yield and collided with the right side of the truck. The force of impact sent the 2006 Pontiac up onto the grass area, where it came to a rest. Female driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to St. Thomas Hospital for treatment. Her vehicle sustained major damage to the front end. She was charged with Failing to yield from private driveway.

Then on November 21 2019, approximately 2:00 pm, Aylmer Police Service responded to a two vehicle collision on South St. W near Raglan St. Aylmer ON. A 2011 Ford being operated by a 25-year-old male from London was reversing from a private driveway on to South St. W. A 2001 Honda Fit was parked on South St. W facing West. Male driver of the Ford reversed into the parked vehicle and struck the left side of the Honda with the left rear corner of his vehicle. He was charged with start from stopped position not in safety.
