Motor Vehicle Collision

On 14th of Sept. 2021, at 4:07 pm., Aylmer Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Sydenham St. and John St. South Aylmer ON. Police investigation revealed that a 2010 Chrysler being driven by a 62 year old male from Eden was West Bound on Sydenham St. The driver stopped for a posted stop sign at the intersection. A 1979 Yamaha motorcycle being driven by an 86 year old male from Aylmer was South Bound on John St. The driver of the Chrysler proceeded into the intersection before the way was clear and the driver of the motorcycle T-boned the car. Driver of the motorcycle was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released. Chrysler sustained minor damage while the Motorcycle sustained moderate damage. Driver of the Chrysler was charged with failing to yield to traffic on through highway.
