On the 8th of July 2021, Aylmer Police responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Walnut St. and John St. Aylmer ON. Police investigation revealed that a 2007 Chrysler, driven by a 56-year-old male from Aylmer was South Bound on John Street. A 2009 Dodge van being driven by a 75-year-old male from Aylmer was West Bound on Walnut St. and stopped for a stop sign. The male proceeded into the intersection and collided with the 2007 Chrysler. As a result, he was charged with Start from stopped position – not in safety. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

On the 9th of Jul 2021, at approximately 11:22 am., Aylmer Police responded to a fail to remain motor vehicle collision on South St. West Aylmer ON. Police investigation revealed that a 2012
Kia SED Van red being driven by a 38-year-old female from Aylmer was East Bound on South St. West. A grey 2005 Chev Silverado Pick Up was parked facing E/B on South St. West. Investigation revealed that the female driver looked down in search for something in her vehicle, veered to the right and struck the parked vehicle. She then took off at a high rate of speed East Bound on South Street. Police located the vehicle and female driver at a residence on Park St. As a result, she was charged with Failing to remain and Careless Driving. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
