On 29th of Feb. 2020 at approximately 3:57 pm Aylmer Police responded to a complaint of a male smoking inside a vestibule of an ATM machine at one of the local banks on Talbot St. W. Aylmer ON. As a result, 65-year-old male of no fixed address was charged with smoke tobacco in prohibited place under the Smoke-Free Ont. Act.

In 2005, the government created Smoke-Free Ontario encompassing Ontario’s actions and investments in tobacco control, and combining evidence-based approaches to prevent children and young people from starting to smoke, helping Ontarians quit smoking and protecting Ontarians from exposure to second-hand smoke.
