On 13th of May 2022 at approximately 11:22 pm., Aylmer Police officer was on patrol when he was alerted VIA Automated License Plate reader technology of a suspended driver for a 2015 Jeep. Officer stopped the motor vehicle on Elm St. Aylmer ON., and spoke to the 31 year old female driver from Aylmer. Officer detected an odour of alcoholic beverage on driver’s breath and as a result, roadside test was administered resulting in a “fail” reading. Female was transported to the station for further tests which she failed to provide. As a result, she was charged with;

  • Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
