Fail to Comply with release conditions

On July 19th 2021, at 07:30 am, Aylmer police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on Melanie Drive. Police located a 41 year old Straffordville male inside the vehicle.  Investigation determined that the male was currently before the courts on (25) outstanding charges which include Theft over $5000, Theft under $5000, Arson, Fail to comply with release conditions and Impersonation with intent.  On these charges he had been released by a Justice of the Peace on May 10th, 2021 and one of his release conditions were that he not be in the Town of Aylmer. The male was arrested and taken into custody for failing to comply with his release conditions and was held for a bail hearing this same morning.  The male is scheduled to return to court in August.
