OBITUARIES:
-Elvidge, Edna, of St.Thomas, on Sunday, in her 79th year. Wife of the late Raymond Elvidge. She was born at North Dorchester Twp. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
-Vangulck, Edward, of Tillsonburg, on Friday, at the age of 61. Ed worked at the VanGulck Bakery, Straffordville. Survivors include: Brother Sylvere VanGulck (Marie) Straffordville etc. Cremation has taken place. Funeral today at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Tillsonburg.

AYLMER BALL REGISTRATION
(From Richard Broer) – “AMBA is reminding everyone that they need to register for baseball before April 1. Teams must be declared on this date. We are really hoping that there will be a team in every age group; therefore we are asking those who are planning on registering to do so as soon as possible. To help prepare for the coming season we have the Davenport gym for the next five Tuesdays beginning on March 27. Those who are Rookie Ball age will practice from 6-7pm, Mosquito age from 7-8pm, and PeeWees from 8-9pm. All must be registered before attending these practices. NO MPP WEBSITE YET
New Elgin-Middlesex-London MPP Jeff Yurek sent out a newsletter last week in which his website was noted. However, it was not functional just yet (and still not today at noon). Said Wlliam Ross on Thursday: = “I’m Jeff Yurek’s Legislative Assistant and yes we will have a website. It was scheduled to be up prior to the release of the newsletter but due to a couple of hiccups, the launch date got delayed. I have been assured it will be up sometime this afternoon (Thurs.)”
