“POLICE CALLED TO FAIR”
“Aylmer Police were called to sort out a dispute during the Aylmer Fair Demolition Derby Saturday. Two male drivers from St.Thomas with an ongoing grudge got into an argument during the competition. When they were both competing during the derby one driver was considered eliminated when the second driver struck his vehicle. But the hit was considered unsportsmanlike and the offending driver was ejected and banned from future competitions. An argument ensued. The impacted driver had bruising from the impact. No charges were laid.”
